​Canadian Chimney is a small family owned and operated chimney, and fireplace service company that specialises in chimney cleaning sweeps, chimney inspections, WETT Inspections, chimney repairs, masonry, chimney roof leak repairs, heat pumps, fireplace and wood stove installations. We offer a selection of cleaner burning fireplaces, wood burning stoves and chimney and venting products as well as heat pumps.
Our team is lead by Ryan, a WETT Certified Comprehensive Inspector with advanced WETT certifications as a System Advisor, Technician, and Chimney Sweep.
In the past, Ryan has served as a Director on WETT Inc's National Board of Directors and was the Chair of WETT's Technical Advocacy Committee.

Chimney Sweep or Inspection

If you don't know the history of your solid fuel burning appliance and it's venting components, or there has been recent issues or changes, we recommend having the system inspected first and swept if needed.

Rebates

There are rebates available if you are removing an old wood burning stove and replacing it with a new cleaner burning wood burning stove or a heat pump or a pellet stove. *conditions apply.

CVRD Community Wood Smoke Reduction Program

Avaialble to residents of the Cowichan Valley: Shawnigan Lake, Duncan, Chemainus, Ladysmith and other areas in the CVRD and North Cowichan.

Heat Pump: A $2,350 incentive for replacing a wood-burning appliance with a heat pump. $2,200 is provided by the CVRD and Canadian Chimney offers a $150 discount.
Pellet Appliance: A $1,050 incentive for replacing a woodstove or an outdoor wood boiler with a 2020 or newer EPA-certified pellet stove or pellet boiler. $1,000 is provided by the CVRD and Canadian Chimney offers a $50 discount.
Wood-Burning Appliance: A $550 incentive for replacing:
an uncertified wood-burning appliance; or, an EPA- or CSA-certified wood stove that is at least 5 years old for a 2020 or newer EPA-certified woodstove. $500 is provided by the CVRD and Canadian Chimney offers a $50 discount.
