Fireplace Repair Services
Masonry Fireplace Repairs

Masonry Fireplace Fire Chamber Repair

Gaps or fractures in a firebox can lead to heat transfer to combustible materials \ pyrolysis.  Our masonry firebox repair service involves sealing the firebox with a high temperature refractory mortar.  We also offer an option to have the firebox painted with a high temperature paint.
National Building Code of Canada
9.22.4. Fire Chamber
9.22.4.1. Fire Chamber Dimensions
1) The distance from the back of the
fire chamber to the plane of the fireplace
opening shall not be less than 300 mm.

Fireplace Damper Repair Service | Damper Replacement

A damper sized to completely cover the throat of a fireplace is essential for proper opening and closing.  Factory built fireplaces require model specific parts supplied by the manufacturer.  To avoid smoking problems, always ensure to use a flashlight and look up to see if your fireplace damper is fully open before lighting a fire.

Fireplace Hearth Repair and Installation Service

Any gaps at the front opening of a fireplace and hearth extension should be sealed to prevent heat or sparks from entering.

Refractory Firebox Panel Replacement

If your factory built fireplace refractory panels are broken or damaged, they should be replaced.  Your factory built fireplace is designed and tested as a complete system.  Any defective parts may cause the unit not to function as intended and could be a fire safety concern.  Manufacturer specific panels should only be installed.

We also offer full masonry chimney repairs, leak repairs, fireplaces, wood burning stoves, inserts, installations,  services.
