Canadian Chimney offers fireplace and wood burning stove services in Nanaimo, Cedar, Yellow Point, Ladysmith, and Lantzville.  We also offer a selection of wood burning fireplaces, wood burning stoves, fireplace inserts and chimney products.

WETT Certified - Nanaimo & Ladysmith WETT Inspections

Ryan is a WETT certified Site Comprehensive WETT Inspector, chimney sweep, and chimney technician with extensive experience sweeping, repairing, installing, and conducting WETT inspections on various wood burning fireplaces, wood burning stoves, and fireplace inserts.  It is our goal to provide professional chimney sweep services in a friendly, and courteous manner.

We offer a selection of cleaner burning wood burning stoves, fireplaces and pellet stoves.  We also offer heat pumps.

Rebates

The Regional District of Nanaimo and The CVRD have rebate incentive programs when you remove your old wood burning stove and replace it with a new cleaner burning wood stove or a pellet stove or a heat pump.  Canadian Chimney is a dealer for these programs and as such we provide the required dealer discounts.

2024 CVRD Community Wood Smoke Reduction Program

Avaialble to residents of Ladysmith and other areas in the Cowichan Valley

Heat Pump: A $2,350 incentive for replacing a wood-burning appliance with a heat pump. $2,200 is provided by the CVRD and Canadian Chimney offers a $150 discount.
Pellet Appliance: A $1,050 incentive for replacing a woodstove or an outdoor wood boiler with a 2020 or newer EPA-certified pellet stove or pellet boiler. $1,000 is provided by the CVRD and Canadian Chimney offers a $50 discount.
Wood-Burning Appliance: A $550 incentive for replacing:
an uncertified wood-burning appliance; or, an EPA- or CSA-certified wood stove that is at least 5 years old for a 2020 or newer EPA-certified woodstove. $500 is provided by the CVRD and Canadian Chimney offers a $50 discount.
