RSF Fireplace Options

RSF wood-burning fireplace models have several style, and performance options that allow you to change the aesthetic look of the fireplace, control the temperature and increase heat distribution to other parts of your home.  To comply with the fireplace listing standards - fire safety, some "options" are mandatory depending on the model and other options selected.  This web page outlines available options for the various RSF fireplace models

Fireplace Facing Options

Fireplace models with the option to block off air cooling louvers have the ability to create a cleaner look with a reduction of the visible metal fireplace shell by installing facing materials over this area.  Some common facing finishes where the clean faced fireplace models are used:  natural stone, cultured stone, brick or tile.  Gravity vents are required when the clean faced models are selected.

Louver Grill Fireplace Models

The fireplace louvers are designed to circulate air between the inner and outer fireplace metal shells and act as a fire safety component that reduces the heat temperature the fireplace and fireplace enclosure is exposed to.  When this option is not selected, other fireplace and fireplace enclosure products are mandatory.
